GIAIGI

Independent documentation and British hallmarking give every eligible CHÔHANÉ creation a clear, verifiable identity.

01

Independent diamond reports

Eligible centre stones are accompanied by a report from GIA or IGI. The report records the stone’s identifying characteristics and grading details. The issuing laboratory remains independent of CHÔHANÉ.

02

Report verification

Your report number can be checked directly with the issuing laboratory. The CHÔHANÉ Concierge can help you read the report and understand how its details relate to your creation.

03

Precious-metal assurance

Where UK law requires hallmarking, precious-metal fineness is independently tested by a UK Assay Office before the piece is released by the Maison.

How to read a UK hallmark

Three marks. One clear provenance.

MARK

The sponsor’s mark identifies the registered party that submitted the piece for hallmarking; the fineness mark records the precious-metal standard; and the Assay Office mark identifies the office that tested it. The exact symbols shown on a finished piece depend on its metal and the Assay Office used.
